Walnuts are an exceptionally nutritious nut. They have higher antioxidant activity, more healthy omega-3 fats and uniquely effective polyphenols than any other common nut. The recommended daily number of Brazil Nuts is 1 to 3. An adult should not exceed 4. We've seen some higher limit sources, but we say 3 nuts a day, about half an ounce per serving.
